Ahoy everybody! The Prize Tsar is going to walk everybody through which prizes are available week by week, so players can plan ahead and see what prizes they want to work for and/or see where their entries are going for prizes!
There’s a substantial number of prizes going out every week during the Summer of Plunder. Here are the prizes that will be awarded at the end of the first week (5/30-6/8).
Weekly Giveaways
When you enter your game on the entry form, you can choose to be entered for a chance to win either some minis or some terrain.
Blister of Miniatures
This prize will be either a blister of minis from the nation you played as for Blood & Plunder, a single ship for Oak & Iron, or a blister of minis OR a customizable mini for Port Royal. If you enter a game via the Entry Form, your name is in the pot for this random draw!
Terrain Pieces
The terrain pieces for this week are The Crane from Things From the Basement and a Watchtower from Timber and Sail!
Additionally, every week will be giving away a scatter terrain bundle designed by Printable Scenery and printed locally by our very own Riley Faulk!
Weekly Objective Prizes
If you participate in the weekly objective, either by playing the “scenario of the week” from the Organized Play Kit, or accomplishing the weekly objective for your game, you can choose to be entered to win one of 2 or 3 prizes (depending on the week): an accessory pack, a painted commander miniature, or a book that’s related to the weekly scenario
Accessory Pack
This weekly prize, coming from Tyler at the Doubloon Lagoon, contains a handy folding ruler, a ship movement template, and possibly more!
Painted Commander Mini
Dr. D from the Raise the Black/Arachne podcast has painted up a set of the Organized Play Kit commander minis and donated them to the campaign. During the 6 weeks when these commanders are featured in the “scenario of the week,” we get to give away one of these beautifully painted minis.
This week we are giving away Jose de Zuniga Y La Cerda featured in the Sortie From Castillo San Marcos scenario from the Organized Play Kit.
Book
This is for all you excellent history nerds! Each week we will be giving away a book related to the scenario of the week in the Organized Play Kit.
This week we will be giving away 1702 Siege of St Augustine by Charles W, Arnade. This great little book is out of print and hard to track down but it’s a great read on one of the major campaigns of Queen Anne’s War. Many of us have been to St. Augustine which makes this campaign even more interesting.
You’ll get a good feel for Spanish Commander Zuniga if you read through this book.

At the end of every other week, we will be giving away one of Firelock Games’ beautiful resin cast ships.
This week we will be giving one of the original Sloop models (or 3 canoas for a Native player) to a random player who submitted a game during the past week.
