Firelock has just dropped some new models it it’s website and the Black Friday mega sale is on from now until December 9th! We have some new sculpts long needed, some re-sculpts, a new objective, and some exclusive models from the past two years suddenly available for purchase, all at a fantastic discount!
We have some painted examples of some of these, but some are so fresh we haven’t even seen them yet.
2024 Black Friday Sale
First item of business is the Black Friday sale. Starting November 22nd, a full week before Black Friday, Firelock Games is offering a full 30% off all Firelock’s game line! That’s huge! I believe that’s the biggest sale they’ve offered all year.
The coupon code should automatically fill in for the 30% discount, but if it doesn’t, or if it fills in an alternate code, clear the discount coupon and type in “2024_blackfriday” and it will apply the discount to everything (except non-Firelock products).
Prices have certainly risen over the years but this sale, combined with the better prices on resin miniatures down to just a little over $12 for a blister pack of 4 minis. If you’re looking for multipart plastic minis, those boxes, usually priced at $29 are down to just a bit more than $20 for a set of 12 minis (or 6 cavalry).
Now is the best time to grab those reinforcements for your army, or pick up that starter box for a new army. With resin minis at around $3 each, or $1.70 per plastic mini, this is a killer deal!

All dice, cards, minis, books and Firelock produced materials are on sale until December 9th. The only exceptions would be products not produced by Firelock Games (like Perry minis for Blood & Crowns) and already discounted items.
Sale prices are not listed on the website, but as soon as you have items in your cart, the sale code pops up and provides the discount.
Dead Pirate Objective
Released right before Halloween, our first mini to look at here is a dead pirate seated on a pile of plunder. For the past month this minis has been complimentary with a purchase of $50 or more.
Now this objective minis is available for purchase for $10. Or $7 if you place an order before December 10th.
Looks like a dead Bartholomew Roberts to me! Priced at $10 or $7 during the sale.
European Commander
This is a BIG ONE! This model was included in the “Plunder Box” sprue as part of the Raise the Black Kickstarter. Representing the slightly later period of the early 18th century, this model is super useful as a Spanish, English, Dutch, or French commander for your Raise the Black factions.
You might need a couple of these guys to paint up in various color schemes.
Pick up now for $7 or later for $10 per minis.
Surgeon Character Model
Released as part of the Summer of Plunder Organized Play Kit, this Surgeon model is ready to remove your favorite limb. With his bone saw at the ready, this is a great model for both the Capture the Surgeon scenario, as for general use as a Surgeon in your pirate force. Blackbeard needs someone to care of his “problems.”
He looks like he might have some Dracula in his heritage. Or at least he takes delight in his work.
The Surgeon model is also listed for $10 which comes down to $7 during the Black Friday sale.
Priest Model
Pierre Labat, or your Spanish Mission Priest, or your generic Spiritual Leader. Also part of the Plunder Box, this great model is now available to anyone!
Master Gunner Model
Another model from the Summer of Plunder Organized Play Kit! We just did a post on this Master Gunner model. A must-have for any player that enjoys ruing out the big guns on land or at sea.
If you missed it during the summer, now is the time to pick up this mini!

Hostigadores Unit
And now for a full new unit! Hostigadores were released as part of the No Peace Beyond the Line expansion book but had to settle for using the Milicianos models. Now we finally get some more woodsy Spanish skirmishers.

Less formally dressed than the Miliciano models and armed with a mix of matchlock muskets and carbines, these are a welcome and fresh addition to your Spanish Militia forces.
This unit will be heavily used in an upcoming Blood & Plunder expansion focusing on the Anglo-Spanish conflict in Jamaica.
We haven’t got our hands on these minis yet, but can’t wait to get some painted up!
Produced in resin and priced at the standard $18 per set of 4 models.
Pikemen Unit Re-sculpt
The Pikemen unit is finally moved into the resin line! But these are all new sculpts. They are at a higher price point, and I’m assuming this is of their long pikes and larger footprint on a printer block but we haven’t seen them yet and the product description doesn’t specify.
With 9′ lances, these models could be used as English, Spanish, French, Dutch, or European Pikemen, or even as alternate models for the excellent Spanish Lancero unit.
At MSRP of $24, you can pick them up for $16.80 right now.
Final Thoughts
That’s a ton of new models! Two units, 4 characters and an objective. These provide a lot of fun new ways to customize your Blood & Plunder forces and spice up your scenarios.
