We have a new battle report video up on our YouTube channel! Instead of a “live battle” format, this video is shorter, summarized report with images, video and narration.
We’re intending to do a series of short battle reports playing through the sea scenarios from the Raise the Black expansion. Next in the series will be Listless!
This game is played at the 250 point level with very asymmetric forces. Both forces are drawn from the No Peace Beyond the Line expansion.
On one side we have the English Royal Navy in a Brigantine with plenty of cannons, commanded by Thomas Spragge.
On the other side we have Juan Corso’s Corsairs in two Piraguas with only muskets and swivel guns!
Will the English gunnery and discipline win the day? Or will the Spanish bravado gain them a prize?
Here’s a small preview of the action. The Spanish needed to grapple, but it didn’t prove easy!
