This the second video in a continued series of battle reports working through the sea scenarios from the Raise the Black expansion. Next in the series will be The Storm!
This is a special “army scale” battle report, featuring five players organized into fleets of 2 and 3 players. Combined forces for each side equal 550 points and we use a modified army scale activation system from the No Peace Beyond the Line expansion.
On one side we have two large fleets of Native American boats, featuring the Kalinago and Golden Island Tribes, each at 275 points.
On the other side we have 3 substantial European ships, British Navy and Flibustiers Nau, broken into 200, 150 and 200 point forces.
The Natives are not crippled by the low wind, but they wield mostly bows and arrows which gives them a disadvantage against the Europeans with muskets and cannons.
Here’s a small preview of the action. The air was thick with arrows!
