Blood & Pigment Podcast Episode 32

In this episode we review the Summer of Plunder campaign with Daniel Wray, who helped design and run the event, and then do another “List Surgeon” episode, looking at some Blood & Plunder armies and analyzing and offering suggestions for refinement.

Special Guest – Daniel Wray

Daniel Wray did the community a huge service this year, helping design and run the Summer of Plunder campaign. Keeping track of all entries, votes, player points, team targets, and map resolution is a lot of work and Daniel did an amazing job helping with this undertaking this year.

In the first portion of the show we talk with Daniel about his experience with the Summer of Plunder, reviewing favorite elements and moments, things that went well, and things that worked out differently than expected.

List Surgeon II

Coming back for a second segment, we have the “List Surgeon” portion where we look at Blood & Plunder force lists submitted from community members and analyze them for strengths and weaknesses and make suggestions for tweaking or improving.

Community Force Building Spotlights

Building armies is a major part of the wargaming hobby. We have restored our “Featured Force Build” part of Blood & Pigment where you can submit a force you’ve built with a write up about it to be featured on the blog. Sharing good builds is a great way to help players up their game and enjoy Blood & Plunder more with fun and solid armies.

Using the page here, you can fill out a form, and we will highlight your army!

Most of the recent write ups are from people who have placed at tournaments recently, but there are bunch of great write ups under the “Community Force Building” tag here on Blood & Pigment. They can be great reading and very inspirational for building your own fun and competitive lists for Blood & Plunder.

If you have a list you’re proud of, send it in and we would love to put a spotlight on it for the community to enjoy and learn from!

You can find this portion of the blog at the bottom of the Force Building menu tab.
