Summer of Plunder Update
Recorded in the middle of Week 6 of the Summer of Plunder, we have lots to talk about! With Garrett and Dan and Joseph all serving in different roles in the campaign, each has a different perspective to share.

Port Royal Kickstarter
Mike gives us the details on how the fully funded Port Royal Kickstarter performed over the past several weeks. Looks like a great game for Blood & Plunder players!
Elite vs Swarm Forces

When players explore the extremes possibilities of creating forces in Blood & Plunder, things get exciting! In every game there is a tension and balance between large armies of low cost models and smaller armies of high value models.
In Blood & Plunder, Militia swarms and now Pirate swarms have proved to be reliable and fun forces to play. As the game grows and adds more forces like professional army factions, the possibilities for “Elite Forces” increase as well.

We discuss the strengths and weaknesses of both approaches, giving tips for both playing a Swarm or an Elite force and playing against a swarm or an elite force.
Mike also points out that balanced forces usually perform better than either extreme. But everyone has to try that swarm at some point!
