2026 Adepticon Tournament Force List Submission

We are a little less than three weeks out from 2026 Adepticon and it’s shaping up to be a great event for Blood & Plunder and all of Firelock Games’ titles. There are about 200 people signed up for Blood & Plunder games at this convention, and almost another 200 signed up for Blood & Valor, Blood & Crowns, Port Royal, Oak & Iron and Blood & Steel.

If you’re signed up to play in the Land and/or Sea Tournaments for Blood & Plunder, it’s time to get serious about finalizing your Force List. The Blood & Pigment team run these tournaments and one of the things we do to make sure the event goes well is approve force lists. We want everyone to have a great time and not have any surprises. It’s no fun to show up to an event with an irregularity or error in your list the forces you to make a last minute adjustment and throw you off kilter right before some intense gaming.

Blood & Plunder Tournament List Submission Deadline – March 22

Please use these forms to submit your Tournament Lists for preapproval by the end of the day, Sunday March 22. Do it EARLIER if you can! The tournament organizer (Garrett or Jason) will check things over right away and get back to you with an approval or other feedback if anything looks out of order. It’s really prudent to run a few games with your list before the tournament so the sooner you get all settled and 100% approved, the better!

In the Notes section, you can indicate which units contain Characters etc.

If you don’t submit force lists ahead of time, we will have to check them over when you show up at the event which can delay the event, and possibly cause last minute changes which can cause difficulties for you and your opponents during the event. Don’t delay, submit today!

Common Issues

Here are the top little issues we have seen in force lists in past years:

  • Too many Characters
    • You can’t have more than 1 Character per 50pts in your force. That means max of 4 on land (200pts) and 5 at sea (250pts).
  • One point over the limit
    • The point limits are hard limits, so don’t push it one or two over.
  • Too many units or models for your ship
    • Remember that you can’t have more than 2 units in each deck of your ship. If you have a 2 deck ship, you can’t have more than 4 units in that ship! Also, you should physically check to make sure all your models can fit into the decks without overhang or overlapping bases. You can check ship capacity here.

Preparing for Your Blood & Plunder Tournament

Jason wrote a great article on prepping for a Blood & Plunder (or any wargaming) tournament a while back and you can peruse it below for a good intro or refresher on how to prep for a fun competitive event.

Sea Tournament List Archetypes

If you’re still building out your list and want to do some nerdy reading, we did a series of articles looking at the various ways you can focus a Sea list. They are written with the 200pt force in mind, but they are still relevant.

“Secret” After Hours Blood & Plunder Doubles Tournament

We are running an unofficial doubles tournament late in the evenings of Thursday and Friday. If you need some extra gaming after a full day of gaming, and want a little more laid back and social experience, show up at the Blood & Plunder section on the third floor and we’ll get you matched up with another player.

This was thrown into the mix for the as a good way to help the many volunteers get some fun “real games” of Blood & Plunder in after doing demos and events all day. But it is open to all players who know the rules, have their own 150pt land force, and can commit to a 2 games on Thursday night and one game on Friday night.
