Summer of Plunder Prize List

Plunder is a big part of the Summer of PLUNDER. Every year we award a boatload of prizes and this year we have a GALLEON full of plunder to send out to players over the course of the campaign. We have several of sponsors who have donated some great prizes (Firelock Games, TABLEWAR, Things from the Basement, Feldherr, Benerson Little, Captain Morrow, Seamon’s Quality Sails, Timber & Sail, Dead Man’s Chest, and The Plunder Den) and we’ve been collecting a horde of valuables over the course of the year to use as prizes. In fact, we have such a long Prize List of stuff to give away that it’s been hard to figure out criteria for giving them all out!

There are several “categories” of plunder that will be awarded:

• Repeating Weekly Prizes
• Unique Weekly Prizes
• TBD “Random” Prizes
• End of Campaign Prizes
• National Prizes from Commanders
• Organized Play Kit Prizes

Repeating Weekly Prizes

Every week we will be giving out two small repeating prizes. Each of these prizes will be limited to once per player during the campaign.

Repeating weekly prizes include:

• Best Photo – Set of Blood & Plunder Activated Tokens
• Weekly Objective – Random player who accomplishes the weekly objective will receive a fancy metal Fortune Coin
• Random Weekly Participant – Blister of 4 Blood & Plunder Minis, or Oak & Iron Ship

Unique Weekly Prizes

In addition to the repeating prizes, we have a unique prize to award to a participating player in each week of the campaign.

• Week 2 – Alternate Rig Ship Card Pack
• Week 3 – Sea Rover’s Practice Book

TBD Prizes

Some prizes we’re just going to give out and random points during the campaign! The major part of this category is reinforcements sent out to new players (started playing in 2024). These prizes will often be awarded among qualifying players at random, or chosen by the person that donated the prize.

• New Player (week 1-3) – Resin Bark & Minis OR Oak & Iron Ships
• New Player (week 4-6) – Resin Barco Luengo & Minis OR Oak & Iron Ships
• New Player (week 7-9) – Resin Sloop & Minis OR Oak & Iron Ships
• Photo of Tournament at a FLGS – Package of Player Accessories
• Epic Multiplayer Sea Game – Sloop of War Book
• “Improvised” Terrain – Hand-Crafted Terrain Piece from Dexter from The Plunder Den
• Native American Bonus – Some Native Themed prizes (Canoes, arrowhead fortune tokens, native minis) for players playing Native Factions
• “Improvised Ocean” – 5’x4′ Fleece Ocean Play Area donated by Matthew Doerr

End of Campaign Prizes

Finally, we have the big END OF CAMPAIGN prizes. Unless listed otherwise, all prizes will be awarded in a raffle-type manner. Each point you earn in the appropriate category earns you one ticket as an entry. Therefore, the more games you play and the more bonus points you earn, the more chances you have to win. However, remember that even if you only play once, you still have a chance to win! This serves as a balancing mechanic to try to give everyone a fair chance to win, even if they can’t play as much as others.

These prizes and categories include:

• 6th Rate Frigate – Grand Prize to a Member of the Nation that Wins the Campaign. (e.g. if the French wins, the drawing will be limited to the French players)
• Tablewar F.A.T. Mat Caribbean Shorelines 4’x3′ – Random Player who plays a game of Oak & Iron
• Oak & Iron Expansion – Random Player of Oak & Iron Games
• Feldherr Mini Case – Each point earned for teaching new Players earns you an entry ticket
• Blood & Plunder Fluyt – Drawn from the points earned for playing games at a FLGS
• Golden Age of Piracy Book – Best Battle Report submitted as voted by the campaign leadership
• Authentic Letter of Marque from Captain Marrow – Player with the most total player points in all categories of the Campaign
• Authentic Letter of Pardon from Captain Marrow – Drawn at random from among the Players who Played for Most Nations (typically you have to play once all 6 nations)
• Deluxe Red Rulebook – (Random) Player who used at least 7 Factions within their Nation
• Limited Edition Black Balandra Sails from Seamons’ Quality Sails – (Random) Quartermaster that runs all 3 events from the Organized Play Kit

National Prizes

During weeks 3 and 9, the Commanders of each nation will also be awarding prizes to their players, specifically for accomplishing national objectives. In effect, the objectives have been tailored to the Nations to add some unique flavor to the games. Be sure to review your nation’s objectives along with all the other weekly objectives to get the most changes to win!

All told we’re planning to send out over $3,000 of prizes over the course of the 2024 Summer of Plunder Campaign! If you participate this year, you’re pretty likely to get some loot!

Organized Play Kit Prizes

Furthermore, in addition to all the goodies listed above, there are some great exclusive prizes to pick up at your local game store or playgroup through the Firelock Games Summer of Plunder Organized Play Kit! Specifically available to retailers and Firelock Quartermasters, the Organized Play Kit contains some fantastic prizes you won’t want to miss.
