We have a new battle report video up! We’ve been slow on the YouTube channel lately, but we have several projects in the works and this is the first to be released!
Capture the Settlement Battle Report
This video is a battle report on the Capture the Settlement scenario from the Raise the Black expansion book. At 150 points, it’s a moderate sized battle with each player controlling 4 units.
With a substantial intro and post game chatter, the battle portion of this video runs about 20 minutes. Expect some outrageous dice, some questionable tactical decisions and plenty of antagonistic banter!
Forces Used
As we continue to highlight material from the Raise the Black expansion book, we both utilize 18th century militia factions. Bryan uses a French Caribbean Militia faction, focusing on mid level and elite troops with solid musketry. Joseph uses a Dutch Caribbean Militia force with a mix of units from Inexperienced Militia to solid Latere Soldaten, all led by Jeremias van Collen, a 30pt commander!
