Native American Call to Arms!

Brothers and Sisters,

It is better to have less thunder in the mouth and more lightning in the hand, but let me say this…

We must protect the forests for our children, grandchildren, and children yet to be born. We must protect the forests for those who can’t speak for themselves such as the birds, animals, fish, and trees. I have seen that in any great undertaking it is not enough for a man to depend simply upon himself.

This is why I called upon you great Sachems to join me in this war.

Native American Commander Bartosz Nowicki

Wrymouth – also known as Bartosz Nowicki.

Born in 1981 in Poland, I am a creative-minded Pole living in Wales, UK. Blood and Plunder is love from the first sight. However, it took a while before I managed to play my first game. During the last Summer of Plunder, I proudly represented Native Americans on the battlefields! I am fascinated by King Phillip’s war and the majority of the forces I play are Northern American (that doesn’t mean I didn’t shoot poisoned arrows before, though). I am very excited to lead our forces this year! Let’s go get it, but most importantly – let’s have fun!

Ps. I have a YouTube channel called Wrymouth Studio. Just in case you’d like to check it out 😉

Native American Second-in-Command – David Boeren

David Boeren here, past leader of our peoples and the Great Spirit has chosen to return me to the world as Chief Winking Owl – advisor and 2nd in command to Bartosz for this season.  In real life I play at Gigabites near Atlanta, GA and collect all of the Blood & Plunder nationalities though I mostly play Natives, English, and Dutch.

Native American Special Objectives

During the 3rd and 9th (final) week of the Summer of Plunder campaign, each Nation has their own private objectives, set by the Commanders. For the Native American players this year, the special national objectives are:

  • Week 3: Use King Phillip or one of the Custom Summer of Plunder commanders (stats & cards below) as your Force’s Commander
  • Week 9: Play a Sea Game using at least 1 Size 2 Ship. There are 2 Factions that can do this:
    • Wabanaki – in both Raise the Black and Fire on the Frontier; The Passamaquoddy subfaction in RtB allows you to have the Sailors trait on all units!
    • Northeastern Woodland Tribes – (Raise the Black)

Native American Prizes

Each Nation’s Commander has a (provided) budget of $100 for prizes for their players. The Native Commanders have divided a Northeastern Tribes Faction Box Set up and will be sending out blisters of North American Native models as prizes over the course of the campaign.

The prize list includes:

Native American Commander Cards

Custom printed Commander Cards are being created for all commanders in the Summer of Plunder. These cards are fully legal for standard Blood & Plunder games, being fancied up version of the “Standard Native American Commanders” present in Raise the Black. These are one of the many prizes you may be eligible to win during this year’s Summer of Plunder!
