Dutch Call to Arms!

Good day gentlemen!

Another tough winter has gone and our Republic still stands! Try as they might, the “Powerful” nations of Europe have yet to subjugate us! And tried they have!

As such, now is the time to sally forth with renewed vigor. Our domain is strong, our merchant fleets control the seas, and we must now SHOW those who would call us our masters that it is WE that have the power! That WE have the wealth! And WE will not be stopped!

But all is not well…. We are pressed on all sides by our enemies! Pirates nip at our shipping…. Draining our national lifeblood like the leeches they are. Spain wants to once again call us  vassals and claim dominion of our lands. France can’t stand having protestant neighbors and believes us easy pickings! England…. Ever a marriage of convenience views our merchant wealth with envy. And the various native tribes are itching for a chance to reclaim their land from us!

We have been a thorn for far too long. For now…. Now, we become the sword! Ready to cut down those who would dare stand in the way of our destiny. We have shown that, despite their best efforts, we can stand against the best in the World! BUT NOW WE RISE!

Our shipyards have been turning out vast and powerful ships of the line, ready to face off against any foe. Our gun smiths and black smiths have been churning out musket, cannon, and sword, to equip our fighting man with the best equipment.

We have the tools…. But we need soldiers…. Saliors…. We  need you! JOIN the Republic now! Help secure or place in the world!

Hi, I’m Matthew. I’m 36, from the state of Missouri in the United States, and have been an avid Blood and Plunder player since its inception. I have participated in the SoP events to various degrees every year, but this is my first year leading the charge! And I couldn’t be more excited! I look forward to seeing you all on the battlefield.

Hi, I’m Maarten de Kruif, 40 years old. I served as Commander during 2023 SoP. I live in the Netherlands, in the Province of South-Holland. This year I am continuing to try to get a thriving B&P community in the Netherlands. I look forward to working with Matthew and you all to finally get the Orange on top.

Dutch Commander Cards

Custom-printed Commander Cards are being created for all commanders in the Summer of Plunder. These promo cards are fully legal for Blood & Plunder games and are fancy versions of the “Standard Dutch Commanders” present in Raise the Black. These are some of the many prizes you may be eligible to win during this year’s Summer of Plunder!
