Gaming conventions are a great place to meet up with other Blood & Plunder players, compete in tournaments or participate in lavish multiplayer scenario events. Firelock Games attends several of the larger gaming conventions across the United States. They usually set up a sizable vendor booth and run several events for their various games. Even if Firelock Games doesn’t have an official presence at a convention, volunteer “Quartermasters” may be helping facilitate tournaments are games at a convention near you.

Origins Game Fair, Columbus, OH – June 18-22
There will be at least 2 Port Royal events at Origins this year. Plunder the Ruins on Saturday at 10am and Sunday at 10am.
Sea Tournament in Oregon City, Oregon – June 28
Local, store tournament at Geeks & Games, in Oregon City, Oregon. Sea Tournament at 250pts on Saturday, June 28, 10am-5pm. Prize support. Check out all the details here on the event page.
HistoriCon, Lancaster, PA – July 17-21st, 2025
Blood & Plunder is BACK at Historicon this year. Events include:
- Land Tournament Saturday at 10am
- Battle for El Morro and San Juan running at various times on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

GENCON, Indianapolis, IN – July 31-August 3, 2025
Firelock Games will be attending GenCon in force, running a booth and hosting wargaming events. There will be a multiplayer scnenario game again this year and a new sea tournament! Details forthcoming.

NashCon, Nashville, TN – August 14-17th
Jason Klotz will be organizing several events at this convention, including :
- Flames of Tobago narrative event on Friday at 2pm
- Sea tournament starting at 8am on Saturday
- Port Royal learn to play at 9am on Friday

The NOVA Open, Washington DC – August 27-31st
NOVA should be a great convention for Blood & Plunder this year!
There will be a full Blood & Plunder land tournament on Saturday, August 30th, and a sea tournament on Sunday, August 31st.
Timothy Stone and Kurtis Fraley will be leading up organizing these events this year.
PLUNDERCON! (tentative fall 2026)
This event is under consideration and nothing is set in stone yet. The current idea would be a small scale convention focusing on Blood & Plunder, offering tournaments, scenario games, open gaming, and a tour of the Blackbeard exhibit at the NC Maritime Museum.
