3D MODEL DESCRIPTION
This is a Block House Fort in 28mm designed to be used with Blood & Plunder. Rules for it can be found in the Fire in the Frontier Rule Book. This model does not have the gun ports low to the floor for cannons that are available in the rules for a Blood & Plunder Blockhouse.
It was also designed to be used in conjunction with the Palisade Fort System. The Base of this model is 4 inches by 4 inches so this Fort can easily replace any Palisade Section.
Very Large Files (500MB): Due to all the hand sculpting of the wood grain.
Base Floor & 2nd Floor have close to 2 million Polys. Give it some time to load into your slicer.
Includes fortified door (not shown).
3D PRINTING SETTINGS
No Supports are needed for an FDM printer.
Glue Roof top and Roof Bottom together.
The Roof and the 2nd Floor are designed to nest/seat with the floor/level below it.
The Base Floor & The 2nd Floor maybe a tight fit depending on how level your printer is. If it is too tight, heat the channel / recessed section the base floor fits into with Hot water or a troch briefly. And push to fit which will expand that area.
Do not worry about rubbing paint off of the Base Floor. It is designed to hide any potential rubbing off of paint over time.
Supports are glued to the bottom of the 2nd floor with the wood grain pointing down. The posts should be nested flush with the sides of the 2nd floor. So, each facing has posts sticking out of it. Also do not cover the recessed area that the base floor goes up into.
Note: Best way to do this is, attach the base and the 2nd floor. Dry fit the 2 Supports flush with wall. On the opposite sides of the walls that dont have beams poking out of them. Then glue the supports down in place on both sides with the wood grain on them facing down.
